Charity Card Making Day

This summer Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators all over the globe are working together to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. This tragic disease has touched the lives of many millions of people around the world and most of us have friends or family members who have been impacted by this disease.

Our Mini Catalogue features the beautiful Strength and Hope Stamp Set which has been specially designed to support the fundraising campaign. Stampin’ Up! will donate £1 for every set sold to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I personally will match this with a further £1 donation for every set I sell. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation support vital research into the prevention and cure of this disease globally with several important research projects here in the UK. So how can you get involved?

Well you could purchase the Strength and Hopes Stamp Set from me, enjoy using it and then maybe buy a few more sets as gifts.

Or you could join us for a Charity Card Making Day on 21 May in Dunstable.

All profits from the event and a minimum donation of £2 per person who attends will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. During this fun packed day we will be making cards not only for ourselves, but also for local hospices and cancer charities.

Each participant will receive a Strength and Hope Stamp Set which is theirs to keep at the end of the event. If you already have this stamp set and let us know when you book we will arrange an alternative take home products for you.

You can join us for the morning (between 10 and 1), the afternoon (between 2 and 5) or come for the whole day. We will be making different cards in the morning and afternoon. 

Light refreshments will be provided as will everything you need to make the cards, along with as much or as little tuition as you need. This would be a great event to bring your friends to even if they have never made cards before, we will make sure they have a lot of fun and enjoy trying this hobby of ours!

We will also have a raffle and a couple of other fun (and fund raising) games. Booking is essential to make sure we can raise as much money as possible.

The cost for the morning or the afternoon session is £32.50 and the cost for the full day is £47.50. However if you book before 10 May you can benefit from the early bird price of just £45.00.

Spring Bliss Stampfest

Following the success of the October Stampfest we are pleased to announce we are back with an even bigger and more exciting programme of events in February 2011.  What better way is there to beat those post Christmas blues that to spend a whole day crafting with friends!

Join us for a fun filled day of crafting during which you will complete three full classes.  You will be provided with everything you need to complete the projects including as much or as little tuition as you need.

As well as the crafting there will also be a lot of laughter, raffles and prizes!

There are currently three events planned so hopefully you will be able to join us for one of them

Saturday 12 February 2011 in Liverpool with Bekka Prideaux and Nicci Russell
Sunday 20 February in Ipswich with Bekka Prideaux and Becki Ritson
Saturday 26 February in Dunstable with Bekka Prideaux and Karen Young

The days each cost £55 and every participant will get a goodie bag containing at least £50’s worth of Stampin’ Up! Products including a full Stamp Set. Light refreshments are also included and we ask you to bring your own lunch so you can be sure to get something you enjoy.

October Stampfest Dates Announced

Get your diary out – we are very excited to be able to announce the dates for Two October Stampfest Events.

At each event there will be three full classes, raffles and prizes as well as a lot of laughter and fun. At the end of the day as well as taking your finished projects home you will also be taking home a full Stampin’ Up! Stamp Set to use on future projects.

During the October events you will make an adorable hand bag filled with coordinating cards, a card organiser and a card with matching gift box.

We are able to offer you the following choice of dates:

Sunday 3 October 2010, with Bekka Prideaux & Becki Ritson at 1st Kesgrave Scout Hall, Kesgrave, Ipswich .  Book this event by 25 September.

or

Saturday 16 October 2010, with Bekka Prideaux & Karen Young at Chews House in Dunstable.  Book this event by 3 October.

Both days will start at 10am and we expect to finish by about 4.30pm. We will be completing the same projects at both events.

The days cost £45 which includes all the materials you will need to complete the projects, light refreshments and as much or as little tuition as you need. Lunch is not included, we ask that you bring your own so we can be sure you get something you enjoy!

Booking in advance is essential and since places are limited we recommend you book as soon as possible.
